Mark Osborn, AIA, CHMM, CAC - Team Leader





Mr. Osborn is a Registered Architect and Branch Manager for SCA's Los Angeles Office. Mr. Osborn has been involved in environmental management with SCA since its beginning. As a registered Architect, he is involved with numerous SCA projects requiring architectural expertise, including specifications writing, analyses of building construction techniques, and historical/architectural building assessments.


Mr. Osborn is currently managing SCA's projects with the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), Los Angeles County Housing Authority, and Vandenberg Air Force Base (AFB), among others. Projects at Vandenberg AFB have included assessments for polychlorinated biphenyls, underground storage tanks, asbestos and lead to accommodate facility improvements at the Delta Rocket Launch Complex, radar installations, fire stations, and other base facilities. Projects at LAUSD have included lead and asbestos engineering assessments, project design, specifications and monitoring at over 200 LAUSD sites.


Mr. Osborn is currently involved with numerous projects at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) related to that facility's multi-billion dollar expansion programs. Work includes identification of hazardous materials, consultations with LAX engineers on Project Designs, and oversight of hazardous materials abatement. Mr. Osborn also manages projects for the Los Angeles County Housing Authority, including hazardous materials management in conjunction with upgrades and improvements to the Authority's numerous multi-family residential facilities.


Prior to joining SCA, Mr. Osborn was the Principal Architect for the Osborn Architectural Group where he was responsible for award-winning custom homes, as well as multi-family housing, commercial and industrial structures.
